One of my goals this year is to create and alter with purpose using materials I have readily on hand. With that said I ask you, what are you going to do with all the paper, beads, buttons and ribbons you have? I suggest you make a scrapbook album, greeting card or maybe even a piece of jewelry.
This month in the Greeting Card Club we are making journals out of composition notebooks. Yes, plain old composition notebooks can be transformed into beautiful, useful journals. You could even give them as gifts. Here is a journal made by one our greeting card members, Cheryle Carter. She intends to use hers at a conference.

Paper and Photo Workshop
If you have a paper project or a photo project you would like to complete, come join us. This is a 3 hour combined workshop. At this workshop you can choose to complete a Make and Take Project using the featured tool of the month. All my CM tools, shape makers and pens will be available for use. A light snack and beverage will be served. Cost $10 (this includes a Make and Take Project) Cost $5 for workshop only (does not include the Make and Take Project). There is no fee for ACC, PCC or GCC members.

Bring your unfinished project(s) (in your Power Layout Box if possible) and I will show you how to use our Power Pallette System to complete an album project AND you will learn how to make quick borders to enhance your pages using our Custom Cutting System and 12” Rotary Trimmer. So, are you up for the challenge? Registration with workshop fee is due by January 15, 2009. This is a great opportunity to catch up or complete an album project!
